At a variety show lots of different kinds of acts come together to create one big show! In this class you will create skits, improv games, movies, dances, songs and more. Students will learn new techniques in acting, singing, dancing and visual art. Every day will bring something new!
Functional Sculptures

Learn how to make artwork that you can actually use in everyday life! Make sculptural containers, lanterns, clocks, wooden shelves, and more.
Art, Design and COLOR

Ever wonder how fashion designers and artists know how to pick just the right colors for their creations? In this class you will try many different forms of art and design: fashion design, interior design and painting, while using COLOR as a way to express yourself.

Have you ever thought about how clay art can transform a space? Clay Studio students will celebrate art through tile making and sculpture, resulting in a permanent public art installation in Providence!

A World of Color

In this class, you will explore how color is used in painting, fashion and interior design. You will see examples of how artists use color to express their mood or make a statement, and then you’ll make art that uses color as a way to express yourself, in your own paintings, fashions and interior designs.

How does art make you feel? Clay Studio artists will work to design a mural that celebrates individuality, creativity, community and collaboration, resulting in a clay tile installation in downtown Providence!

Get movin’ in this fast-paced, upbeat dance/aerobics class. Work up a sweat while you groove to the latest hits, learn new dance moves, and play fun movement games.
Supermen (Boys Only)

While this class can’t help you jump over buildings, the power of creating one’s own comic book can be just as amazing! Artists will spend most of the class writing and drawing their own comics, but will also read and talk about comics that have already been published.
Our Town Mural Project

Learn the art of making meaningful large-scale and public paintings. Learn how to enlarge drawings, create a mural from conceptual design to finished project, learn painting techniques, and make your mark in a team project in downtown Providence.
