T-shirts have a special place in our hearts as a convenient way to display art we like. In this class we will create a variety of T-shirts using different methods including painting, printing and more. Make a T-shirt to bring home!
Paint Studio

This class will give you the opportunity to explore your own individual style of painting. You’ll see examples of amazing work by other artists to inspire your own paintings using watercolors, tempera, acrylic and ink.
Art & Nature Clay Studio

Learn to pinch, punch, pull, coil, slip and slab your clay into beautiful art influenced by nature (land or sea). Also make an outdoor sculpture!
Outdoor Sculpture

Learn how to make a variety of exterior and temporary sculptures. Explore plaster, stone and wood sculpture techniques.

Want to learn how to dance to hip hop? In this class you will learn cool dance moves, steps and warps. Don’t know what a warp is? Come find out and learn other cool things you can show off to your friends!

This class will give students the basics of what it takes to be a fashion designer. From sketching and sewing to working with fabrics, textures and colors, students will go through the steps of bringing design ideas to life.
Gigantic Miniatures

Explore the basics of architecture, furniture design and construction. Build a variety of models, from miniature to large scale, and design your own fantasy home!
Say it With Clay

Make useful clay pieces to give to someone or to keep for yourself. Learn to pinch, punch, pull, coil, slip and slab your clay into functional, beautiful things that communicate something about you. Learn to make a pot on the potter’s wheel, too!
Photos and Photoshop

Experiment with digital photography and the basics of editing photos on the computer using Adobe Photoshop. Practice with composition, lighting and more with the camera. Then enhance your work digitally!

Ages 8-14
Come explore the many ways of making art in classes led by talented students from RISD. Work in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography and more!
